``NICO is one of the BEST up & coming COMEDIANS in EL PASO!``

Nico always liked to make people feel better, which is why he became an ambulance driver and wanted to be a doctor. After becoming an EMT and working in a busy ER with lots of sick people, he realized that sometimes a smile or a joke could make people feel better, more than all the morphine in the world (which would actually just kill you).  He realized that with just words and a good attitude they can laugh, and he wanted to learn how to do that ALL THE TIME.

In 2013, Nico left the medical field, stopped being an ambulance driver/pizza boy, and started bringing the funny with a mic and on a stage.  He quickly rose through his hometown comedy scene and within a year he became a regular host at, the only A rated comedy club within 500 miles, The El Paso Comic Strip.  Since starting comedy, and losing all faith in humanity, Nico’s had amazing opportunities to work with legendary comedians such as Pablo Francisco, Carlos Mencia, and Doug Stanhope.

``Nico is often described as, “Awkward, but in a good and funny way…

Often described as “Tall, awkward, goofy, hilarious, laugh out loud good, weirdly pale, a commanding presence, and he smiles too long”, Nico was a finalist in the 2014 El Paso’s Funniest Comedy Challenge and a finalist in the 2015 Southwest Laughfest Comedy Festival.  Today, Nico is fortunate to work and travel with comics and performers all across the southwest  at comedy clubs and casinos such as the Joke Joint Comedy Showcase, The El Paso Comic Strip, and the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort in New Mexico.
